Patchwork Circle

You will need -

  • dark green greetings card cut to 10.5 cm x 11 cm
  • white, dark green and gold card
  • design from: Christmas Patchwork Circles Segments Die Sheet DS34C264
  • border from Lacy Snowflakes Die Sheet DS78C298 (slightly different from shown)
  • gold pigment ink pad
  • Versamark inkpad
  • white embossing powder
  • scissors / glue / silicone rubber
  • deckle-edged scissors
  • fine prisma glitter
  • an embellishment for the centre of the circle (used here: handle from Xmas Patchwork Fan Segments)

 

1. Ink the Lacy Snowflake circle segment with Versamark ink, stamp on to dark green card and emboss with white powder. Make 3 alike.

2. Ink the Heart segment with Versamark ink, stamp on to green card and emboss with white powder. Make 3 alike.

3. Ink the Heart segment with Versamark ink, stamp on to gold card and emboss with white powder. Again, make 3 alike.

4. Cut out all the segments, cutting out just the heart from those stamped on gold card.

5. Glue the stamped green segments to form a circle on the white card.

6. Trim round the circle with deckle-edged scissors making a square, leaving a ½ cm border around the edges.

7. Ink the lacy snowflake border with gold ink and stamp across each corner of the square.

8. Glue to the greetings card.

9. Use silicone rubber to fix and angle the gold hearts over those in the Patchwork Circle.

10. Glue an embellishment in the centre of the circle.
