Chain Stitch Christmas Tree

You will need -

  • red greetings card cut to 9.5 cm x 12.5 cm
  • white and dark green card
  • stamp: Chain Stitch Christmas Trees Design Extra DE03C371
  • arched message from: Chirstmas Messages Die Sheet DS151C371
  • Versamark inkpad
  • silver tinsel, gold, pearl and red embossing powders
  • scissors / glue
  • deckle-edged scissors
  • gold beads and gold star crystal or sequin

 

1. Trim the white card to fit just inside the greetings card and glue

2. Ink the main part of the large chain stitch tree with Versamark ink, stamp in the centre of the dark green card and emboss with silver tinsel powder.

3. Ink the star with Versamark, stamp at the top of the tree and emboss with gold powder.

4. Ink the tree pot with Versamark, stamp at the base of the tree and emboss with red powder.

5. Ink the arched message with Versamark, stamp above the tree and emboss with pearl powder.

6. Glue a gold star embellishment into the star at the tree top and gold beads over the branches of the tree.
