Here are some questions you may have about shopping online with CaroLines.

Shipping - how much does it cost?
Our postage and packaging rates have designed to be as reasonable as possible. We charge £1.30 per order initial p&p plus a 'per item' charge to reflect international postage where appropriate. The costs are -

UK Europe Rest of the world
25p per item 50p per item 80p per item
There is no charge for p&p on orders above £75

How long will my order take?
We are usually able to dispatch your order within 4 working days - often sooner. Remember to add on the normal postage time to your area - a day or two in the UK and naturally longer for international orders. Occasionally there may be longer delays if we're making a new batch of die sheets. In this event, we'll email you to keep you informed, so ensure you give a valid email address with your order.

Who can use the die sheets?
The die sheets are designed for use in a craft enviroment. Anyone - beginner or experienced crafter - can use them for their own personal cards. They are simple to use. However they are for hand made items only. They may be used on cards and crafts which are sold for charity or craft fairs. However, it must be stressed that the designs may not be mass produced.
It is also worth pointing out that the products are craft items, not toys, and are therefore unsuitable for children under five years old.

Why can't I buy other items from the catalogue online?
This is the first time CaroLines has had a shop online. We're keen to get it right, and want to make sure we deliver a high standard of service to all our custiomers. To help us achieve this, we are starting with the die sheets and will be adding new products gradually in the future. If there is something particular you are after, email us directly and we'll see how we can help.

Why is the project book more expensive for overseas orders?
As we said in the shipping section, we've tried to keep our postage and packing charges as low as possible. We set them with the die sheets in mind, which are relatively light items. The Project Book is much heavier and the price difference of posting it internationally is significantly higher than the 60p per item between UK postage and overseas postage. We decided that rather than increase the international shipping charges across the board, we'd price the project book at two rates. This seemed fairer to all our customers. But rest assured, it's the same Project Book wherever you live.
